You can pick up an Asda Gift Card from any of our stores and they can be used in part or full to buy anything listed on the George.com website.
Do I have to spend the whole amount on my card in one transaction?
No. Any unused balance remains on the card until you spend it and you can spend the funds on your card in as many transactions as you like. If the value of your order is more than the value on your gift card, you can pay the remaining balance with another payment method.
How do I use my Gift Card on the George.com site?
Simply enter your Gift Card details during the checkout process on the payment page. You will be asked for the 16-digit number which is on the front of your card and the 4-digit pin number which is on the reverse. The pin can be viewed by scratching off the silver panel with a coin. You can also add your Gift Card to the voucher section of ‘My Account’. Gift Cards with an available balance will be offered for you to select on the payment page.
What happens if I return an item purchased using a Gift Card?
If you paid for all your order using your Gift Card, a full refund will go back on to the same Gift Card so it’s important to keep hold of this. If you used a different payment method like a debit/credit card as well as a Gift Card, your refund will be given by Gift Card first and then your other payment method.
If you have a George account, your Gift Card balance will also be available to spend from your George account. You’ll see this under the voucher section of ‘My Account’. If you placed your order as a guest checkout, then the refund will be available on the original Gift Card only.
