Can I collect large items from Asda stores?
It is unlikely that large items can be collected from our stores. Items that can be collected from our stores will be highlighted as such on the product details page.
How long does delivery take after I've ordered?
Delivery timescales are shown on the product page and at the checkout page when you place your order. Where an estimated delivery date is given, our courier company will contact you to arrange a date once your product is ready for delivery.
Most of our products are available for named day delivery. However, timescales can vary for the following reasons:
The item is being made to order
The item is being delivered direct from one of our suppliers
Delivery to the Highlands, Islands or an offshore location can take longer.
Will the carrier unpack my item and remove any packaging?
Yes, the carriers will unpack large items and remove the packaging from your home. Please remember we cannot accept returns on mattresses if they have had the packaging removed.
Will the carrier take my large item to the room of my choice, even upstairs or if I live in a flat?
Yes, the carriers will take the item to the room of your choice. Please ensure that access to the room is clear and ready for your new furniture delivery. Also, please remember to check the dimensions of the item before you order to make sure it fits into your home and will pass through any external and internal doors or gates.
Will the carrier assemble my large item?
The carrier will not assemble your item, though they will undertake very basic assembly tasks such as screwing the feet onto a sofa.

Will the carrier take away my old large item when they deliver my new large item?
Our carriers are not able to remove old large items from your home.
What do I do if my large item is damaged or faulty?
If your large item is indoor or outdoor furniture and it's damaged or faulty, you should refuse delivery and contact us as soon as possible, ideally on the day of delivery.
If you discover a problem with your furniture after delivery, we'll aim to fix this as soon as possible and try to repair or replace it for you. The does not affect your statutory rights. Get in touch with us using the links below.
